Situation
One of the oldest Investment Banks in Europe was suffering
from declining brand loyalty due to an increase in
advances from younger competitors offering well-positioned
investment products. The only solution was a complete
shift in strategy from a brand to a customer focus.
Solution
After eight weeks of intensive research, G2 Knowledge Consulting developed a comprehensive CRM strategy that
included a two-year plan and business case. Based on
this strategy, G2 Knowledge Consulting implemented both
a Campaign Management System and the SAS Enterprise Miner
Systems. G2 Knowledge Consulting also trained marketing
staff on the systems' proper use, developing single customer
views, taken from 13 operational database systems, along
with the development and implementation of a new redemption
model.
Result
G2 Knowledge Consulting continues to develop contract
strategy and e-commerce strategy for this client who
has increased retention rates with a renewed customer
focus. Cost per acquisition has been reduced by 22% in
the first year and the average investment value has increased
by 6% for new business.
